Sticky Faith in Multicultural Contexts: Practical Ideas to Help Young People Develop Lifelong Faith
Half of youth ditch their faith upon graduating from youth ministry. What's the difference for those who stay connected? How is it different in multi- or specific-ethnic ministry contexts? This workshop looks at research by the Fuller Youth Institute with insights from Latino, African American, and Asian American leaders. We will unearth the toxic myths students believe, making them shelve their faith, and will work on strategies to make a difference in students' lives.

Wrestling with Hope
Many students in the inner city have experienced trauma and catastrophic brokenness. In this workshop we will be covering scripture and practical ways to walk and disciple students who have experienced pain and loss. We'll use the story of Jacob wrestling with God. My prayer is that students would hear truth that will help them wrestle with God with hope, and find healing through pain, tragedy, loss. Jacob encounters God, and it profoundly changes his life.

Let’s learn practical ways to live this out with young people so we don’t miss our Kingdom assignment.
