This workshop will be an overview of common mental health diagnosis that we see in youth today. Attendees will learn about the signs, and understand the stigma and barriers for mental health service. Learn a practical approach on how to address the issues of mental health with youth and how to help guide them to resources.

Sarah Young- Sheppard graduated from Cal State, Long Beach with a degree in History. She continued her education and received her Masters in Social Work from USC. Soon thereafter, she founded the Social & Emotional Wellness Initiative (SEWI).
